Account Executive
We are recruiting an Account Executive to build out a new business pipeline and manage relationships with key industrial accounts. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to excel in delivering our new cleantech industrial products to the energy industry from their base in Alberta, Canada.This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales professional eager to contribute to the growth of an innovative company.

The job description:
Reporting to the President and CEO, the Account Executive will work closely with senior management and our engineering team, leading business development and sales efforts for the Company.This account executive will be responsible for full sales cycle activities: daily prospecting, pipeline growth, prospect qualification, and closing specific sales revenue and unit volume targets as established on a quarterly basis.
While the Company is headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, it is expected that the account executives will be based in Alberta. The role will require regular travel to meet with current and prospective customers.
Responsibilities
•Establish and maintain relationships with key industrial accounts; create and execute key account plans.
•Develop new accounts within targeted markets; Develop and maintain territory customer database; support market visibility activities through knowledge of and participation in key industry events and networking opportunities.
•Prepare sales presentations to create product/service/solution understanding and awareness; develop value propositions to address customer needs.
•Work with internal teams to successfully onboard new clients; lead onboarding activities including providing training on use and operation of equipment.
•Provide input to senior management as requested, including sales forecasting and sales process improvements.
•Contribute to the development of a competitor database.
•Attend seminars and sales meetings in order to develop knowledge about company’s products and procedures for these products.
Requirements
- Demonstrated track record of success, over-achieving quotas in business-to-business sales spanning prospecting, conversion and retention
- Willingness to travel
- Technical selling skills anchored in an understanding of engineering
- Should be able to thrive in rapidly changing environments
- Demonstrated ability to forecast sales results
- Excellent presentation and listening skills
Employee Pay Disclosure
At Kinitics, we want to attract and retain the best employees, and compensate them in a way that appropriately and fairly values their individual contribution to the company. With that in mind, we carefully consider a number of factors to determine the appropriate starting pay for an employee, including their primary work location and an assessment of a candidate’s skills and experience, as well as market demands and internal parity. For this role, Kinitics estimates a starting annual base salary will fall in the range of approximately $75,000 – 125,000. This estimate can vary based on the factors described above, so the actual starting annual base salary may be above or below this range. Annual base salary is also just one component of Kinitics’s total rewards package. A Kinitics employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, depending on their role, including sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or participation in the company’s Employee Stock Option Plan.
