The Role
The Account Representative is a hands on sales professional who manages a dedicated territory of 300 current SAPinsider Member companies. The Account Representative sells, expands and renews all Global Membership and Event Delegate ticket relationships across each company. The Account Representative is a high activity sales executive that is skilled at building meaningful relationships across all roles in their targeted member companies while also achieving monthly sales quotas.
SAPinsider conducts 12 global events and summits annually where the Account Representative will have direct ownership of driving membership enrollment and event delegate attendee sales performance. The Account Representative will travel to these events to meet and work with their Global Members.
SAPinsider provides ongoing sales skill development training to support professional growth as a sales executive.
The role reports directly to the Vice President of Sales, Global Membership & Event Delegates.
Specific Responsibilities include:
- Lead discussions across all prospect teams in SAP COE, platform technology, application development, IT Operations, cloud, cybersecurity, data, analytics, GRC, Finance, HR and Supply Chain.
- Exceptional speaking, writing and communication skills.
- Commitment to achieving monthly sales goals.
- Cold calling and email marketing skills.
- Maintain and manage all contact history for every prospect in SFDC.
- Achieve and exceed an annual sales quota of $500,000.
- Manage all in-bound marketing and ecommerce generated leads for Global Membership and Event Attendee ticket sales.
- Sell, expand and renew a dedicated territory of 300 existing SAPinsider member companies.
- Build long term relationships across all member companies assuring consistent annual event participation and membership renewal.
- An ideal candidate will possess:
- 2+ years of successful B2B sales experience.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong experience working within an SFDC environment.
- Effectively position and align SAPinsider’s Global Membership, Content, Expert Network, Education and Event experience services with each contact and companies requirements.
- Professional Qualifications
- Passion for working with IT and Business professionals on their educational needs associated to using enterprise software and technology solutions.
- Travel to SAPinsider Global Events and Summits to work with their Members.
Compensation
The Account Representative enjoys a competitive base salary and commission sales plan. Year 1 OTE is $100,000 plus and grows from there.
