Job Description
Are you an organized individual who enjoys working collaboratively with different departments? Do you consider yourself a people person and look for a career in the financial industry? If your answer is yes, you could join our client’s team in Mississauga as a Receptionist.
This position is responsible for providing day-to-day administrative support to the office, including maintaining electronic financial records and a comprehensive filing system, managing office inventory, responding to all correspondence, promptly forwarding unit information to the provincial office, and performing general administrative/reception functions (phone calls, word processing, photocopying, scanning, faxing, etc.).
Position: Receptionist / Adminsitrative Assistant
Employment Type: Full Time Permanent
Location: Mississauga, ON
Salary rate: $45,000 - $50,000
Hours: 8:30 – 5pm (40 hours a week)

Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to a team of brokers.
  • Ensure the reception area of the office is kept clean, tidy, and presentable at all times.
  • Effectively handle phone and email correspondence from clients, brokers & lawyers.
  • Such other duties and responsibilities as the Company may from time to time assign either verbally or in writing.
  • Stock control, office & equipment maintenance.
  • General office duties: telephone answering, opening files, document preparation, letter writing, data input, courier arranging, filing, photocopying, faxing, as required on a day to day basis.
  • Open reception desk daily at 8:30 a.m.
  • Route incoming faxes to appropriate individual(s).
  • Greet clients/visitors arriving at the reception desk.
  • Initialize the setup of new files for clients
Qualifications
  • A high level ofinitiative and resourcefulness
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills are a must
  • Able to communicate in a professional, pleasant, and confidential manner
  • Post-secondary education; Bachelor or Diploma earned
  • An outgoing friendly personality with a positive team player attitude is a must
  • Excellent customer service skills, both in-person and over the phone
  • Ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines under pressure
  • At least 2 yeas of administrative experience
