The Equity, Anti-Racism, and Inclusion Office was established at THP to lead the organization along its journey to becoming antiracist. Position Summary:


A self-motivated individual with strong organizational skills who will provide administrative support to the Director of Equity, Anti-Racism, and Inclusion.


Some key responsibilities include:


  • Managing director request
  • Managing calendar & address meeting conflicts in a timely manner
  • Maintaining files and records
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Processing external and internal invoices, expense claims, and payroll
  • Monitoring and ordering office supplies
  • Providing administrative support to the director, and Equity office
  • Taking and drafting minutes of meetings, memo creation


Key Qualifications:


  • Ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders (internal and external) in a professional
  • Replace Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
  • Completion of administrative training at secretarial level or evidence of equivalent experience
  • Previous health care environment experiences an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal skills combined with the ability to work effectively as a member of a
  • A professional and friendly attitude combined with a positive work performance and attendance record.
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal (ignore my comment above re this)
  • Highly effective technical skills with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and effective time management skills
  • Ability to prepare, design, and distribute internal/external correspondence including posters, reports, presentations, proposals, letters, memos, and minutes of
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving needs of ethics
  • Ability to handle sensitive issues and problem-solve with tact and
  • Strong computer skills including MS Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook
