Responsibility

• Make necessary changes in the Payroll system to keep the information up to date (Paye, Benefits, work accidents, disability, etc.)
• Produce various metrics as well as monthly/annual reports, etc.
• Collaborate with vendors for ongoing support and issues management
• Manage various ad hoc projects in relation with payroll
• Calculate and adjust the vacation bank as well as sick days entitlement, etc.
• Act as a resource person for leaders for topics in connection with payroll and Benefits
• Ensure reconciliation between collective insurance bills and our payroll system
• Ensure the application and compliance with internal policies
• Support the HR team on various projects and events
• Participate in bi-weekly payroll processing in collaboration with the payroll leader
• Create/open employee files

Requirements

• Ability to lead and coordinate several files at once
• Ability to establish relationships of trust with employees and managers while demonstrating high standards regarding compliance with internal rules and labor standards
• Knowledge of the ADP payroll system or other similar payroll software an asset;
• Sense of customer service;
• Have a minimum of one (2) year of experience in a similar position;
• Sense of organization and autonomy;
• College or technical diploma in a relevant field;
• Bilingualism both oral and written (English / French)
