About Harris:

As a Controller at Harris, you will play a pivotal role in our success, providing essential financial support and analysis that directly impacts our Business Unit's achievements. Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will lead a team of finance professionals and collaborate closely with senior leadership teams, serving as their trusted business advisor.

Position Details:

• Assist the M&A team with finance due diligence and oversee financial integration of new acquisitions, including intangible valuations and accounting entries
• Coordinate audit requests and responses during quarterly reviews and year-end audits
• Review multiple-element software contracts for proper revenue recognition under IFRS 15 guidelines
• Manage, coach, and mentor a team of finance professionals, including CPAs and CPA candidates
• Conduct technical accounting analysis under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Responsibilities: Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of monthly financial reporting
• Analyze, summarize, and present financial results to senior leadership
• Provide analyses supporting senior leadership's decision-making
• Location: Remote (with office options across North America)

Qualifications:

• CPA (or equivalent) designation
• 5+ years of work experience in an accounting or finance environment
• Experience in building and managing relationships with direct reports and internal stakeholders
