Workday Hris Specialist - Payroll, Absence, Time Tracking

Here at Focus Cloud, we are currently working with an industry leading Canadian organization who are currently undergoing a full suite Workday HCM implementation! This is a real period of change within the business, who are investing heavily into their people and systems, and undergoing a full fledged HR Transformation!

My client is looking for a Workday Analyst/Specialist to their join their internal Workday team and support their Workday HCM implementation. In this role you would be the SME and go to resource for Workday Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence workstreams, focusing on configuration and stakeholder engagement to drive the Workday implementation and post production support thereafter.

Workday configuration experience is required for this position. Candidates with configuration skills in any of the Workday HCM modules will be considered but the ideal candidate will also have exposure or hands-on experience with Workday Payroll.

The business is early in it's Workday journey which makes this a a great opportunity to drive the adoption of Workday within the business and grow your career alongside the Workday product.

This position will be a hybrid role but there may be some flexibility in the future once the implementation goes live. The client has offices in Mississauga, Ontario, and Montreal, Québec.

Required experience:

• End-to-end Workday implementation experience is desired but not required
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Exposure or hands-on experience with Workday Payroll
• 1-4+ years hands-on Workday experience including configuration

This is a permanent full time position open to candidates in Québec and Ontario.
