We are looking for a Workday Support Specialist to join our Information systems team. Reporting to the Group Manager, Workday Business Solutions, you will work in collaboration with other Workday Support Specialists in providing expert knowledge on Workday functionality.

Workday Support Specialist, Job Highlights:


  • Act as Workday knowledge worker across all modules of workday. Designs non-complex solutions to meet business requirements; document requirements, design and configure solution, test and implement solutions in production
  • Deliver Change Management tools as required i.e. Training (in-person, e-learning, process documentation, corporate communications)
  • Provide 2nd level Workday Support for all workday tickets supporting 10,000+ employees across the company.
  • Actively participates in Workday community and related user groups. Keep current with WD skills and knowlege with new features and funtionality.
  • Develop test plans and test cases. Execute testing as well as coordinate testing with the business team(s) while ensuring accuracy, accountability and traceability to the business requirements.
  • Responsible for system audit reporting and analysis
  • Provides day-to-day Keep The Lights On (KTLO), tenant management, security administration and development of required business reports.


Workday Support Specialist, Knowledge and Skills:


  • Team player with an exceptional work ethic, detail oriented and self-motivated
  • Workday Administration Training/Certification preferred in one or more workday modules
  • Previous retail experience
  • 3+ years experience with HRIS, Payroll or Finance business applications
  • Bilingualism
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • 1+ years experience as a Workday Report Writer
  • 2+ years experience configuring and maintaining Workday business process
  • Ability to prioritize workload and execute tasks independently, providing timely follow-up and resolution
  • Strong problem solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Proven track record of experience with all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle
  • Excellent communication skills including verbal, listening, written documentation, influencing, facilitation, negotiation, presentation skills for technical and business audiences regardless of level
  • Bachelors Degree (Business Systems, Human Resources, Finance) or equivalent experience
  • 1+ years experience administering Workday Security
  • 2+ years experience with Workday in at least 3 or more modules within Workday (Core HCM, Recruitment, Time Tracking, Compensation, Scheduling, LMS, Benefits, Payroll or Core Finance, Customers, Assets, Expenses etc.)
