Workday Financials Associate Consultant

Associate Financial Consultants are individuals who are passionate about solving problems and helping others. They are self-starters with an interest in building a strong career in Consulting, Human Resources, Finance or Information Technology. Associate Financial Consultants are responsible for providing support across Workday Financials module(s), understanding the client's business and requirements, and configuring, designing, and delivering solutions that best fit client needs. The role provides impeccable customer service to clients and builds strong relationships with clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform research on problems, identify the true cause, and present/implement corrective measures to the client. Seek opinions and feedback on alternative solutions from team members to solve client needs.
• Assist clients in testing Workday configuration, provide knowledge transfer and develop documentation as applicable.
• Meet key performance indicators set for this role (ex: utilization target, service level agreements, customer satisfaction scores, etc).
• Design, configure, test, and implement client business requirements in Workday Financials module(s).
• Consult and execute with limited supervision on deliverables/projects across multiple, concurrent clients.
• Use the company's methodology and processes to implement solutions successfully while remaining agile and flexible to clients' changing needs.
• Conduct working sessions with clients to gather, understand, and analyze business requirements. Assess client needs and propose recommendations and⁄or alternative solutions to meet client goals. Advise clients on best practices, recommend process improvements, and implement system enhancements.
• Complete deliverables within prescribed timelines. Ask for support and direction and⁄or report status to appropriate team members as it relates to project issues.
• Work in a fast-paced environment that requires tasks to be completed quickly and accurately.
• Troubleshoot business processes, calculated fields, business logic, file loads and configuration.
• Demonstrates ability to prioritize conflicting demands with little supervision.

• Build a working foundation of Workday Financials and associated modules through delivered training, on-the-job training, and provided networks of teams and mentors.
• Collaborate effectively on team-based projects.

Qualifications

• Ability to be effectively and actively engaged on multiple, parallel projects and deliverables.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to adapt to frequent change.
• Ability to meet travel requirements (<5% a year).
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and colleagues in a remote working environment.
• Capable of working within remote teams and alongside clients, as well as on individual tasks with minimal supervision.
• Highly self-motivated with initiative, curiosity, and willingness to learn new skills.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent time management and organization skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to client satisfaction; strong customer focus with the ability to build relationships.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
