Accounting Technician Jobs

In a role as anAccounting Technicianyou are responsible for supporting overall administrative & bookkeeping aspects of the finance department. This includes maintaining an organized database and filing system while working closely with the rest of the department and companies.

Role Responsibilities:

• Preparing all accounts payable runs
• Maintaining our payables inbox
• Reconciliations & credit card statements
• Accounts receivable & invoicing
• Releasing payments after approvals
• Preparing & managing all regular bookkeeping
• Performing month end close & preparing all info for review

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Possesses the knowledge of accounting principles, processes and practices.
• The ability to manage multiple deadlines, determine priority and get tasks completed
• 3-5 years of experience in bookkeeping/accounting
• Established experience in accounting cycle and balance sheet reconciliation
• Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software such as Quickbooks, Xero, and Sage.
• Organized, Punctual and able to work with minimal supervision
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent financial and mathematical skills.
• Is great with people and able to provide excellent customer service.
