Accounting Clerk / Accounting Technician

We are looking for an Accounting Clerk / Accounting Technician to join our team, to assist with day-to-day accounting tasks. span>

The desired candidate must have a great sense of organization, be structured, meticulous, able to work in a team. He/She must also be autonomous, have good adaptability and a concern for confidentiality.

Requirements

• Relevant experience of 2 to 6 years in the field of accounting;
• Experience with Sage software and project financial management software, such as ABAK;
• Have a professional or college diploma in accounting;
• Proficiency in written and spoken French, basic knowledge of English appreciated.
• Good knowledge of the Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook);

Task Description

• File tax returns, government remittances and other documents for governments;
• Perform all related duties related to the function.
• Perform bank reconciliation;
• Record and control accounts receivable and accounts payable;
• Process, record, verify and track disbursements;
• Perform task-related filing;
• Effectively maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable;
• Send customer invoices by email, account statements and ensure effective billing management;
