Job Description
DEPARTMENT: Accounts Payable


BARGAINING UNIT: CUPE


JOB TYPE: Permanent full-time


SCHEDULE: Day, 8 and 12-hour shifts. Work schedule may be changed to meet operational needs.


LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: French essential and spoken English

Job Summary


Reporting to the Regional Manager of Accounts Payable, incumbent will be responsible for processing invoices in the financial system to ensure they are paid on time, matching invoices and suppliers' accounts and following up if invoices are missing, and checking reports. Will perform all other related duties based on the needs of the Accounts Payable Department.

  • Ability to use and work with computer tools and office software (Meditech, Windows, Word, Excel);

  • Passing an accounting/bookkeeping test;
  • Secondary school diploma plus an additional program in administrative management or support of over six months and up to one year in length that includes accounting courses or equivalent;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Proven communication and interpersonal skills;
  • The above requirements may be verified through oral, written or practical tests during the selection process.
