Job Description

Controller, Permanent Position

Our client is located in Anjou, works in the field of sales to hardware stores / renovation center and e-commerce, is looking for a new controller. This is an opportunity to join and contribute to a reputable company working with industry leading manufacturers and retailers.

The controller will be responsible for the entire accounting cycle, overseeing operations and the warehouse management.

Responsibilities:

  • Administration of human resources, pay and information technology management.
  • Administer and coordinate the financial planning and forecasting, cash flow and budget management functions of the company;
  • Create and maintain financial reports, dashboards and key performance indicators.
  • Coordinate the annual verification (inventory and audit) and the transmission of information to the external auditors;

Required competences

  • CPA or equivalent hands on experience.
  • Excellent French and English communication skills (written and spoken)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
  • Experience working with consumer products and retailers is a benefit.
  • Knowledge of mid-size ERP platforms (experience with Sage 300 is a plus)
  • 5+ years of experience in finance, accounting and operations.
  • Leadership experience is an asset.

Notre client, situé à Anjou, œuvre dans le domaine de la vente aux quincailleries/centres de rénovation et au commerce électronique, est à la recherche d'un nouveau contrôleur. Il s'agit d'une occasion de se joindre et de contribuer à une entreprise réputée qui travaille avec des fabricants et des détaillants chefs de file de l'industrie.


Le contrôleur sera responsable de l'ensemble du cycle comptable, de la supervision des opérations et de la gestion de l'entrepôt.


Responsabilités :

  • Administrer les ressources humaines, les salaires et la gestion des technologies de l'information.
  • Créer et maintenir des rapports financiers, des tableaux de bord et des indicateurs clés de performance.
  • Administrer et coordonner les fonctions de planification et de prévision financières, de flux de trésorerie et de gestion budgétaire de l'entreprise ;
  • Coordonner la vérification annuelle (inventaire et audit) et la transmission des informations aux auditeurs externes ;

Compétences requises:

  • Excellentes aptitudes à la communication en français et en anglais (à l'oral et à l'écrit).
  • Conditions de travail
  • Une expérience en matière de leadership est un atout.
  • Connaissance des plateformes ERP de taille moyenne (une expérience avec Sage 300 est un atout).
  • Une expérience de travail avec des produits de consommation et des détaillants est un atout.
  • CPA ou expérience pratique équivalente.
  • Plus de 5 ans d'expérience dans le domaine de la finance, de la comptabilité et des opérations.
  • Licence en comptabilité.
