Collaborate with vendors for ongoing support and issues management

Make necessary changes in the Payroll system to keep the information up to date (Paye, Benefits, work accidents, disability, etc.)

Manage various ad hoc projects in relation with payroll

Act as a resource person for leaders for topics in connection with payroll and Benefits

Have a minimum of one (2) year of experience in a similar position;

Possibility of working from home after de probation period

Participate in the full payroll cycle, including benefits applications

Provide support to managers and employees for all payroll-related questions;

Minimum 3-5 years or more of experience with the full cycle of payroll

Bilingualism ( good knowledge of french speak and write)

Prepare reports for upper management, finance department, etc.

Receive approval form upper management for payments when needed

Process taxes and payment for employee benefits

Responsible for enrolling all new hires on the company benefits schemes

Keep track of hour rates, wages, compensation benefits rates, new hire information etc

Address issues and questions regarding payroll from employees and managers

A number of weeks of vacation time that reflects your work experience;

Good knowledge of payroll and its compliance;

Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in payroll;

Good knowledge of the Office 365 Suite;

Knowledge of basic accounting (an asset);

Knowledge of Desjardins payroll software, Nethris (an asset);

Union experience asset but not required

Must have experience processing payroll not just outsourcing

Full cycle payroll for 1200

Calculations for a variety of situations such as new hires, leaves, position changes, and terminations

Must pass internal Payroll test (multiple choice + some math) – all related to PC payroll
