It Project Coordinator Jobs

On behalf of our client, Affinity is looking for a detail-oriented IT Project Coordinator for a contract opportunity. They would like someone with strong organizational skills and experience in task management software to join our expanding IT team. The ideal candidate will efficiently coordinate project activities, ensure timely completion, and facilitate effective communication among team members and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate project activities, including planning, scheduling, and tracking progress to ensure timely delivery of IT projects
• Identify, analyze, and address potential project risks, issues, and roadblocks, and escalate as necessary
• Attend project meetings and provide status updates to stakeholders and senior management
• Act as a liaison between IT and other departments to ensure seamless integration and adoption of new technologies and systems
• Document project processes, deliverables, and outcomes for future reference and continuous improvement
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and adhere to organizational policies and best practices
• Collaborate with IT management to establish project budgets, allocate resources, and forecast future resource needs
• Support project team members by providing guidance, resources, and training as needed
• Use task management software to create, assign, and monitor tasks, deadlines, and milestones
• Facilitate communication between project team members, stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure clarity and alignment on project objectives, timelines, and expectations

Requirements:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is desirable
• Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project coordination or project management
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Ability to identify and resolve project-related issues and risks proactively
• Proficient in using task management software, such as Asana, Trello, or Microsoft Project
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
