Your Next Challenge

Reporting to the Information Technology Lead, you will be part of the Information Technology Department. You will also ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.

• Maintaining working components through repair and/or replacement;
• Ensure adequate inventory for computers and spare parts;
• Provide all the necessary assistance to the users round-the-clock;
• Resolve all hardware issues related to radios, desktops, computer peripherals, such as printers, scanners, hard drives, monitors, etc.;
• Participate in on call rotation.
• Configuration of phones, mobile, tablets, radios, desktops, laptops, printers, access points, cameras, etc.;
• Assisting employees and contractors with hardware and software challenges;
• Resolve or escalate all calls forwarded by Syntax Help Desk and ensure timely data entry into the ticketing system;
• Providing Tier 1+ and above technical support to a business unit’s employees;
• Assisting call-ins or live chat with technical difficulties;

What You Need To Succeed

• College Diploma in Information Technology, or equivalent;
• Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
• 1 year of experience in the computer service field;

Your Work Schedule

• Schedule: 5/2 schedule at our Macassa Mine in Kirkland Lake, ON.
