It Projects Technician Jobs

Manages the software lifecycle (i.e. requirements, architecture, programming, testing, maintenance, change management, continuous integration, and release management).

Management of networks, Office 365, RDSH, phone systems, etc. and hands-on experience administering or supporting various business applications.

Collaborates with Senior Leadership on Annual Planning Process (strategy planning, forecast, budget management, All Staff Meetings, Board Meetings).

Initiates, plans, executes, controls and closes out the program or project with an emphasis on project inter-dependency management.

Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Health Informatics, or related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.

A proven record of accomplishments in project and budget management.

Experience with remote support (e.g., helpdesk/service desk, PC, phone, documentation and maintaining documentation)

Being knowledgeable and staying updated with new technology

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and 365 suite (email, sharepoint) experience

CompTIA A+ certification and/or relevant Microsoft certification is considered an asset

Experience with Windows Desktop and Server Operating Systems and back-end server support (e.g., setting up email accounts / file server permissions)

Experience running and terminating network cables

Resolve or escalate all calls forwarded by Syntax Help Desk and ensure timely data entry into the ticketing system;

1 year of experience in the computer service field;

Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.

Providing Tier 1+ and above technical support to a business unit’s employees;

Maintaining working components through repair and/or replacement;

Ensure adequate inventory for computers and spare parts;

Experienced, independent, and able to handle 15-20 projects per year without requiring excessive supervision or micromanagement

Exposure to data center environments; backups, redundancies, server management etc.

Experience with Windows domains, firewall and networking systems, phones, email and cloud services, virtualization, and certifications with technology as an asset

Ensuring risks are managed while minimizing their impact on projects and customers

5+ years of experience in the IT industry

3+ years of experience with a portfolio of completed projects in the IT industry
