Asset Coordinator Jobs

Reporting to the Manager of Customer Services, the Asset Coordinator will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of IT Assets including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and disposal. In addition they will have accountability in creating and maintaining, a CMDB (asset management system) using our ITSM Tool. The Asset Coordinator will establish asset hierarchy and gaps, monitoring and maintaining service levels, risk assessments and asset lifecycle strategies for sustainable financial planning.

The Asset Coordinator is responsible for maintaining HITS IT Assets which will includes the following:

• Hardware Management: including employee workstations, monitors, mobile devices, printers and other peripherals
• Work within the ITSM tool to create and maintain a CMDB.
• Software Management: including tracking and licensing of corporate software assets

They will be responsible to track utilization of HITS IT Assets to ensure optimal use of the fleet. The IT Asset Coordinator is also responsible for preserving data integrity, updating and reporting on Assets.

• Must maintain strict confidentiality
• College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science, information sciences, or related field
• Ability to prioritize and manage time constraints
• 3+ years' experience with ITSM ITIL processes and frameworks preferred
• Must be self-motivated and work with minimal supervision
• Ability to interact well with, and respond to inquiries from employees, Management and vendors
• Experience with an Asset Management system and process is an asset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and GIS (Geographic Information System) Applications.
• 3+ years' defining process and data requirements for an IT Asset Management system and/or process.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
