Accounts Payable Clerk

Maxim is currently searching for aAccounts Payable Clerkto join our Anjou location. The successful candidate will perform reception, accounts payable/receivables, and general office duties. This is a great role for an administrative professional who is ready for a new challenge and professional development.


Hours:8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (Term Position)


Responsibilities:

  • Answers supplier and internal inquiries
  • Monthly Account reconciliation with statements
  • Performs receptionist duties including switchboard operation
  • Contacts suppliers for credits/invoices/PO
  • Performs administration duties
  • Performs accounts payable functions


Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of A/P with POs and W/Os (work orders)
  • Basic accounting courses (strong knowledge of debits and credits).
  • Experience in the retail or service industry an asset.
  • Fully Bilingual in French and English is required.(written & spoken)
  • Minimum 3 years of related office experience including accounting experience (A/P, A/R, bank deposits) and switchboard/reception experience.
  • Strong attention to detail skills.
