Overview Payroll and Human Resources Specialists are responsible for managing payroll and human resources functions within an organization. They are responsible for ensuring that payroll and personnel records are accurate and up-to-date, and that all payroll and personnel related activities are in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Detailed Job Description Payroll and Human Resources Specialists are responsible for managing payroll and human resources functions within an organization. They are responsible for ensuring that payroll and personnel records are accurate and up-to-date, and that all payroll and personnel related activities are in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. They are also responsible for administering payroll and personnel policies, procedures, and programs, and for providing advice and guidance to management and employees on payroll and personnel related matters. Job Skills Required• Knowledge of payroll and human resources principles, practices, and procedures
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in computer applications, such as Microsoft Office
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• At least two years of experience in payroll and human resources
• Professional certification in payroll and human resources, such as Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Professional in Human Resources (PHR)
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of payroll and human resources principles, practices, and procedures
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
• Knowledge of payroll and personnel software
Job Experience
• At least two years of experience in payroll and human resources
• Experience in administering payroll and personnel policies, procedures, and programs
• Experience in providing advice and guidance to management and employees on payroll and personnel related matters
Job Responsibilities
• Administer payroll and personnel policies, procedures, and programs
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of payroll and personnel records
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Provide advice and guidance to management and employees on payroll and personnel related matters
• Prepare and submit payroll and personnel reports
• Maintain payroll and personnel records
• Respond to inquiries from management and employees regarding payroll and personnel matters
