Your new role
As the Payroll & HR Administrator you will provide day-to-day support for Payroll, Benefits & HR Administration.
Reporting to the Director of Finance and the Human Resources Manager, this role is responsible for full cycle payroll processing for hourly and standard employees in compliance with federal and provincial legislation and employment standards. This role aids both the Finance and the HR department. Your daily responsibilities will be divided equally between the two. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a high degree of confidentiality relative to personal data, compensation data, and benefits information for Fast + Epp employees in Canada and the US.
What you'll need to succeed
- CPHR (Chartered Professional in Human Resources) designation or equivalent would be considered an asset but is not required
- A CPP (Certified Payroll Practitioner) is preferred
- 1-2 years of knowledge and experience in pension, benefits and/or human resources is preferred
- 2+ years in an accounting role performing full cycle payroll in Canada (US payroll experience is considered an asset but not required)
- A post-secondary education degree or diploma in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance Commerce or Human Resources is preferred
