The Payroll & Benefits Coordinator manages payroll and benefits administration, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. They provide expertise in payroll systems, generate reports for evaluation, and prioritize client service. The coordinator supports finance, HR, and records management. Responsibilities
- Support LTD claims and tax liabilities management.
- Perform assigned duties.
- Support compensation and benefits projects.
- Interpret and apply payroll, tax, benefit, and accounting rules.
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll and benefit services for 200 employees.
- Participate in departmental initiatives.
- Set priorities to meet deadlines.
- Generate reports and provide training on benefits and payroll systems.
- Review and validate payroll transactions.
- Resolve outstanding items and discrepancies.
- Coordinate seamless payroll and benefit provisions.
- Liaise with relevant parties regarding payroll, benefits, and leave management.
- Assess and optimize payroll and HRM systems.
- Complete year-end activities and assist with audits.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ideally pursuing the PCP certification or recently qualified
- Ability to interpret and apply employment contracts, regulations, and guidelines.
- Expertise in benefits administration and relevant software.
- 2+ years of experience with payroll, ideally in a high volume, full cycle payroll environment.
- Strong understanding of full cycle payroll practices, tax laws, and software programs.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
