Roles and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Vice-President Talent and Culture, with a dotted line relationship to the Human Resources Program Lead, you will be a key player in achieving Transdev’s business objectives. Your responsibilities will include:
- Create and update employee information in the human resources information system (including new hires and terminations);
- Prepare documentation (letters, communications and forms) to be issued to internal stakeholders;
- Lead the Transdev Canada Internship Program, including recruitment, drafting contracts, coordinating intern activities and being a point of contact for the students;
- Lead international recruitment mandates, including educating stakeholders, partnerships with various countries, sourcing candidates, collecting and processing required documentation and preparing employee files while respecting immigration deadlines;
- Register new employees to the company’s training platform and troubleshoot any issues;
- Lead the administrative organization of the national Human Resources and Organizational Development team by reviewing and optimizing internal processes;
- Support the team with full-cycle recruitment cycle and onboarding activities to ensure full integration of employees, including coordinating interviews, performing background checks and drafting contracts;
- Support in various other Human Resources projects as required.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now (an asset);
- Post-secondary diploma in HR, Administration, International Business, Project Management, Operations & Logistics, Finance or related field;
- Ability to work autonomously and independently;
- Strong record keeping skills and meticulous attention to detail;
- Ability to be resourceful, proactive and anticipate needs;
- Strong bilingual (French and English) written and verbal communication skills;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel and PowerPoint).
- Excellent organizational, multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks;
- 2-3 years of experience in HR administration, project management, logistics or relevant field (essential);
