Description

As a trusted consultant for a selection of Canadian business units, the Human Resources Manager plays a pivotal role in various HR dimensions. Guiding a compact HR Team, the manager facilitates essential functions including employee relations, recruitment, retention, compensation, talent evaluation, structural planning, resource allocation, learning initiatives, professional growth, policy adherence, and regulatory compliance.


Job Duties


The Central Responsibilities Of This Role Encompass:

  • Demonstrating remote work prowess, effectively managing staff and challenges remotely as competently as if physically present;
  • Undertaking additional HR-focused initiatives, including evaluating the effectiveness of existing and novel programs as required.
  • Ensuring the accurate and timely updating of personnel data in the Workday HRIS system to facilitate proper management of employee compensation, benefits, payroll, and related programs;
  • Occasional travel as needed; and
  • Inspiring individuals to strive for excellence; overseeing their growth, encompassing individual and team objectives, coaching, guidance, mentorship, and strategizing;


Requirements


Qualifications:

  • Precise attention to detail and adept time management capabilities.
  • Prior involvement in the technology sector, characterized by high activity volumes.
  • 1-2 years of experience in managerial roles, encompassing mentoring and coaching.
  • Possesses the skill to empower others, encouraging shared responsibility and visibility.
  • Previous engagement in providing support for extensive matrixed organizations.
