Job Description

Our top client in the transportation industry is seeking an HR Manager to join their team. This individual would ideally have experience leading a team of reports with training and development experience, along with organization planning and succession planning knowledge. The ideal candidate would be open to a fully on-site work module located in Bolton, Ontario.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with federal guidelines by leading the implementation of training programs
  • Partner with business unit leaders to develop innovative people planning strategies
  • Foster positive employee relations through the creation and communication of company programs
  • Shape the company culture by creating and maintaining company policies
  • Promote wellness and work-life balance by managing employee benefits programs and implementing wellness initiatives
  • Play a key role in attracting and retaining top talent by participating in talent acquisition planning and interviews
  • Create a culture of growth and development by managing succession planning and annual performance reviews
  • Collaborate with the HR Director to implement and deploy strategic planning initiatives in all areas of the department

Qualifications and Skills

  • 4+ years of experience managing a diverse team of leaders
  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources Management
