Human Resources Office Manager/Remoe

Our client designs and manufactures custom and high-quality cabinetry for kitchens, bathrooms, and your whole home. They are a growing, investor-backed start-up located in Livermore, CA. They are seeking a qualified HR/ Office Manager to oversee HR functions and manage office operations to ensure their team thrives and their workplace runs efficiently.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Must be local to Livermore, CA and able to work onsite daily.
• Proven experience in HR management and office administration.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory. (Preferred Mandarin/Chinese language skills but not required).
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Knowledge of relevant labor laws and regulations.
• Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

HR Manager:

• Conduct performance reviews and work closely with department heads to enhance employee performance and satisfaction.
• Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance and retirement plans.
• Draft contracts for independent contractors and consultants.
• Manage the payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees.
• Stay knowledgeable about labor laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Foster and nurture a positive company culture that aligns with our values.

Office Manager:

• Ensure effective communication within the office and with external parties.
• Maintain an organized inventory of office supplies and order new supplies as needed.
• Act as a liaison with local authorities and manage permits and licenses required for our operations.
