Job Summary


The Human Resources & Payroll Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the HR Department at Invader. This position will focus on administrative support and information management within the HR Department and Plant. This position coordinates the implementation & maintenance of the Human Resources management system. The incumbent will be responsible for the preparation of bi-weekly payrolls, benefits administration, and monthly reporting requirements. They will also be responsible for coordinating activities and performing ad hoc administrative duties for the Plant.


Principal Responsibilities


  • Prepare absenteeism, turnover and other various HR reports on a monthly basis, or as needed.
  • Responsible for updating the phone system, contact cards, etc., when changes to personnel occur.
  • Assist in the design and circulation of bi-monthly newsletter to all Fabrication Plants.
  • Maintain organized paper and electronic personnel files.
  • Verify daily timeclock punches, absences, and schedule changes by working closely with Supervisors and other managers on duty.
  • Complete set up of new employees in relevant company information systems and submit new hire documentation to Corporate Payroll and Talent Acquisition teams as required.
  • Work closely with the Human Resources Generalist, Corporate Human Resources & Corporate Payroll on all payroll, benefits, & human resources related issues for hourly employees
  • Coordinate with Corporate Payroll & Total Rewards for any hourly employee personnel changes.
  • Ensure bi-weekly payrolls are processed in a timely & accurate manner
  • Verify, and submit Agency hours on a weekly basis to Agency Payroll.
  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of the HR portion of the new hire orientation and onboarding process.
  • Maintain all relevant employee data trackers with regards to vacations, attendance, safety shoes, lockers, stamps and other.


Qualifications & Experience


  • Knowledge of various types of legislations, laws, standards, & best practices relating to Human Resources, Payroll Administration and Information Management.
  • College or University degree in a related field (Human Resources, Business, Administration)
  • 1-3 years’ experience in Human Resources with a focus in payroll.
  • Excellent communication skills both written & verbal & training skills.
  • Strong computer & clerical skills.
  • Minimum 1-year experience in Management Systems.
  • Attention to detail is a significant skill set required for this position.
