This is a hybrid role based out of our Toronto, Boston or London, UK offices.
In this role, you’ll be accountable for the execution of global marketing campaigns across the institutional channel. Working collaboratively with the content owner and the media buying team, you will provide guidance and expertise to layer in both digital and traditional media spend and ensure that our target audiences are being reached efficiently and effectively. With a focus on ensuring campaigns have global reach across both public and private markets, you’ll be accountable for campaign visibility, proposing buy plans globally, reporting against critical metrics and adjusting the promotional plan as needed.
A strong understanding of media planning and cross-platform integrated media strategy for both digital and traditional campaigns is required. Experience in investment management and/or financial services is an asset. You will have exposure across divisions and levels of the organization, and accordingly, be comfortable dealing with a wide-cross section of collaborators.
Main Duties And Responsibilities
  • Ensure timely execution and delivery of multiple campaigns to internal clients; delivering above-expectation, on-time and on-budget.
  • Oversee execution of global campaigns
  • Familiarity with comprehensive integrated strategy approaches analytical and empirical media planning tools.
  • Develop a comprehensive reporting framework to gain advanced insights into the effectiveness of each media platform, individually and holistically.
  • Implement a playbook for global marquee content campaigns.
  • Serve as a platform expert across established and developing digital and traditional media channels with the ability to advise the media buying team on targeting capabilities, creative formats, and buying methods.
  • Partner with the marketing intelligence and analytics teams to measure and track digital media metrics and ROI against targeted outcomes, driving actionable recommendations and insights 
  • Stay apprised of industry competitors’ content and campaigns as well as time sensitive industry topics.
  • Oversee the calendar of industry sponsorships and publications; provide recommendations of target events and publications
  • Build and maintain strong relationships and processes with legal and compliance teams’ Collaborate with these teams to develop creative solutions to scale content and digital tools to drive efficiencies.
  • Create the media strategy including targeting, platforms, creative formats, and budget allocation.
  • Establish a strong collaboration network with marketing partners and subject matter experts to complete global marketing campaigns across public and private markets as well as key publications such as Global Intelligence and Global Macro Outlook.
  • After content is developed, ensure global campaign visibility and be accountable for approvals, syndication across websites, promotional activities and digital campaigns.
Qualifications And Experience Required
  • Experience with project management and project management tools
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills, comfortable managing and communicating with multiple internal and external collaborators; ability to advocate and influence without direct reporting line authority
  • 10+ years dynamic work experience in a marketing function, or in a related field
  • Strong analytical toolkit. Comfortable gathering and digesting data and crunching large data sets across various media platforms.
  • University or college degree in marketing, communications, public relations or journalism / media.
  • Understanding of both digital and traditional media, how it fits as part of an overall integrated marketing strategy and across the consumer journey
  • Hands-on solid understanding of Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads and Google Marketing Platform
  • Experience working in financial services, asset or investment management is preferred in planning and driving campaigns
  • 5+ years of experience working in digital media across all channels (search, social, programmatic, video etc.)
  • Experience managing large to medium scale projects and planning multi-channel media for large budgets
  • Thrives in a global virtual team structure spanning multiple time zones and cultures
  • Strong understanding of media performance measurement (e.g. MMM or MTA’s) and web analytics platforms

Salary & Benefits
The annual base salary for this role is listed below.
Primary Location
Toronto, Ontario
Salary range is expected to be between
$100,500.00 CAD - $180,900.00 CAD
