Overview:

We are looking for an EVP Marketing to join our dynamic team in the Canadian and Global ETF Market.This is an opportunity to join Canada’s most innovative ETF provider.

As the leader of the Canadian Marketing team, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to support our ETF products. Focused on strategic excellence, the right person for this role is a proven leader with extensive investment funds experience and is a proven digital marketer who leverages data insights in decision making. This critical leadership role collaborates closely with the Sales, Product Development, legal/compliance staff, and the broader Marketing team to drive commercial success across all new and existing markets.

Responsibilities:

• Lead all marketing efforts and drive performance of the team with exceptional interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration
• Leverage global synergies and collaborate with Mirae Asset global ETF business
• Collaborate with product team and business partners to evaluate opportunities, develop recommendations, and create impactful marketing strategies in support of our suite of products
• Develop key vendor relationships with a critical focus on resource management and return on investment measurement metrics analysis
• Build marketing strategies focused on ETF marketplace trends, business cycles, target audiences and solving investor challenges
• Define strategic marketing plans in alignment with business objectives
• Create, manage, and deliver strategic, integrated marketing plans supporting ETF content, investment capabilities and product solutions to target audiences in addition to supporting cross-channel sales
• Stay current on ETF-specific regulations, policies, and industry best practices.

Requirements:

• Mix of traditional and digital marketing experience with an eagerness to drive new marketing strategies
• Proactive leader with ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects across multiple stakeholders simultaneously in a deadline and data driven environment
• 10+ years of marketing experience, including project management within a marketing team
• Strong digital marketing experience including working knowledge of digital applications, data visualization tools and integration of platforms.
• Experience in product and/or channel marketing in financial services or asset management experience preferred
• Adaptive and critical thinking with a focus on objectives
• Budget management across marketing activities and initiatives, consistently exhibit strong attention to detail and assessment of spend results
• Highly effective in forging working relationships with team members, senior leaders and external partners
