We are hiring for a client, a leading Financial and Insurance service provider.
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid Model)
Duration: 12 Months Contract
Pay Rate: CAD $43/hr on T4
As a member of the Advice marketing team, the Marketing Manager leads and supports pivotal initiatives related to brand and marketing strategy, marketing operational efficiency, digital strategy and governance, content management, campaigns and marketing-related event activities.
Reporting to the Director of Advice Marketing, this role is integral to the ongoing development and management of marketing initiatives to support the Wealth Management Advice business in Canada.
The Marketing Manager’s mandate includes:
Marketing & Digital Strategy/ Governance
- Plan and lead marketing initiatives that contribute to increased brand awareness
- Drive awareness, consideration and acquisition through various digital channels, including email marketing, social media, web.
- Execute marketing campaigns and initiatives by leading cross-functional teams including creative, compliance, editorial, digital marketing, translation and both external and internal communications.
- Develop and maintain marketing collateral on digital platforms including internal and external systems
Operational Efficiency
- Seek and implement innovative and automated processes to enable marketing to focus on high value functions while identifying and showcasing automation savings to the organization
- Identify, support and readily adapt to marketing modernization and transformation efforts by implementing processes that unlock efficiencies across the entire marketing organization with a digital-first mindset
- Collaborate with leadership to develop sales enablement process, tools, and collateral.
Project and Event Management
- Develop project plans and coordinate with cross discipline/functional team members to ensure all parties are aligned to project requirements, deadlines and schedules
- Oversee the production, distribution and optimization of event-related content – including creative deliverables, digital invitations, presentation decks and event follow-up messaging.
- Evaluate event performance, post-event ROI & analytics tracking
Qualifications
- 5 - 7+ years in the investment management industry (5 yr. Min.)
- Sound business acumen, judgment, and decision-making
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Self-motivated, organized
- Strong interpersonal skills that model corporate core values
- Solid project management background with demonstrated ability to deliver with efficiency, accuracy and timeliness
- Knowledge of Seismic, DOMO Analytics, and MS Project is an asset
