Job Description

Marketing Manager – Property Management

The Marketing Manager will spearhead Forthright Properties’ traditional and digital advertising efforts across several platforms. The Marketing Manager will oversee the overall strategic planning, manage the marketing budget, set internal KPIs, liaise with the Executive team and collaborate with the Managers of other departments. This is a leadership position requiring strategic insight, data-driven decision-making, and a strong understanding of the rental property market. The Marketing Manager will lead a team dedicated to reducing days on market, driving year-over-year revenue growth, minimizing vacancy loss (tenant retention), lowering cost per lease, and optimizing tenant acquisition cost. The Marketing Manager is also responsible for assisting the Marketing team with digital advertising or other marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create seamless tenant experiences.
  • Lead the marketing team to optimize digital advertising across various platforms, ensuring high visibility and engagement.
  • Assisting the Marketing team in their digital marketing initiatives.
  • Monitor, analyze and report on performance metrics, using data to drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.
  • Create strong relationships with external advertising agencies and vendors to ensure product consistency and quality while meeting budgetary requirements.
  • Oversee market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities while ensuring marketing campaigns are effectively meeting the needs of the company.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies that align with company KPIs, with a focus on days on market, revenue growth, vacancy loss, cost per lease, and tenant acquisition cost.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistency in branding is used.
  • Overseeing the creation of all marketing materials including digital content.
  • Stay current on industry trends and advancements in digital marketing to ensure our strategies remain competitive.
  • Monitoring the market competition and identifying opportunities for differentiation and market positioning.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving ability, including metrics-driven thinking.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics.
  • Proven experience in a marketing leadership role, preferably in the property management industry.
  • Strong understanding of digital advertising platforms and strategies with a high-level understanding of digital and direct response marketing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Public Relations or related field; MBA is an asset.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and build relationships within the company.
  • Strong understanding of marketing software programs and tools.


Salary: $70,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
