M&A Marketing Manager

Job Summary:

This role presents an opportunity to build and lead the marketing function that supports the M&A team at Perseus Group. In this role, you will execute on projects including but not limited to: website optimization, content creation, event execution, assets/branding ownership and, an overarching account-based strategy to directly support the Corporate Development origination efforts.

Reporting to the Vice President of Corporate Development, the successful candidate will bring a growth-mindset, a collection of experiences aligned to the core responsibilities of the role and, familiarity managing vendors to close out technical gaps they might have in their experience.

Measured on defined Demand Gen and M&A metrics quarterly, coupled with ongoing delivery of project-based strategic initiatives overlayed annually, this role is well-suited for someone looking to take great strides in their career and demonstrate an ability to plan/execute a marketing strategy in an autonomous and decentralized environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Audit and prioritize website optimization efforts
• Consistent communication to the M&A and the Corporate Development teams regarding changes, updates, releases, and other opportunities to support capital deployment efforts
• Document prioritize and execute against aontent roadmap
• Define core Marketing M&A metrics and own go forward KPI reporting
• Support Marketing budgeting process for 2023 and 2024

Qualifications:

• Comfortable receiving coaching or feedback
• Comfortable working under dynamic timelines
• Ability to lead or facilitate M&A market-research and action learnings
• Results-oriented mindset
• Minimum 2+ years of B2B marketing experience (relevance to software or M&A preferred)
• Proven ability to plan, budget and execute on variety of campaigns across core channels of: Organic, SEO, Paid, Event, Direct
• Comfort and experience coordinating and managing vendors as required
