Marketing Manager
Full-Time | June 2023
CreatorClub is bringing brands, startups and creators together to collaborate, create and learn —helping to build the creator economy here in Canada. CreatorClub simplifies content creation by connecting brands and creators to tell their stories at scale using their content creation project management tool and CRM. Based in Toronto, the company provides an all-inclusive solution, from production management, planning and studio space to distribution. CreatorClub includes a curated roster of creative professionals passionate about storytelling and content creation.
The CreatorClub team is hiring a full-time Marketing Manager reporting directly to the CEO to support in growing our startup, managing the marketing mix, while nurturing our online community of creators and businesses.
In this role you will own the marketing calendar, project manage the marketing mix and manage the team of subject matter experts to execute on strategies and tactics. You will oversee CreatorClub’s interactions with the public by implementing content and advertising strategies across social platforms, and attract attendance for community events.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate networking events and educational programming (virtual and in-studio)
- Develop and manage editorial calendar to ensure strategic alignment across departments
- Collaborate with and leverage team members to execute content, business development and marketing initiatives
- Reach out to potential influencers/ambassadors and manage relationships
- Promote programming and events online to current members and broader community (attract net-new audience)
- Report on performance of content, input data into KPI tracker
- Manage and help develop our scalable content strategy for social media
- Manage people, timelines, and deliverables to hit project deadlines using Notion as a project management tool, slack and google meets as communication tools and G-Suite business products for sheets, docs and decks
- Monitor online activity, social listening, and maintain brand voice
- Oversee all aspects of social media interaction between CreatorClub and the audience (customers, community members, partners)
- Through content and engagement, drive website visits and new inquiries from potential clients or creators
- Collaborate on content creation with the content team
- Select and use tactics to maximize outreach and increase engagement
- Manage channels with focus on Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn company page, with additional channels being considered
Availability
While this role is intended to be full-time, CreatorClub accommodates the flexibility of contractors and freelance talent. We encourage you to apply even if you have a different full-time availability.
This is a hybrid position with the option to work from the studio at Spadina & Richmond in downtown Toronto. In-person support will be required for occasional events.
Compensation
Salary of $60,000 + Benefits

Qualifications
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Excellent project management experience, and skills is a must
- Proficiency in Slack, Canva, Google Suite, Airtable, and Notion
- Excellent interpersonal and people management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- An energizer and an excellent team player
- 2+ years of experience ideally in the agency, startup space or creative industries
- Creative thinker with experience executing content creation, storytelling, media planning and social/digital
- Collaboration and networking skills
- Understanding of consumers and media consumption habits along with target audiences, and devising tactics that engage, inform and drive the business
- Equal parts analytical and creative
Bonus Experience
- Prior experience in a startup environment
- Prior experience with copywriting
- Prior experience as a content manager
- Social Media certification
