About The Role


As the Senior Manager, Campaigns & Communications, you will play a key role on the SEPHORA Canada Marketing team as we fuel our purpose of changing the way the world sees beauty. Driving brand equity & preference, deepening client engagement, and exploiting competitive advantage through the development of insight driven coordinated campaigns to propel SEPHORA Canada’s strategies and growth initiatives is your mandate.


With responsibilities spanning across our Masterbrand, key commercial retail moments, and product and brand differentiators, you will bring these to life through integrated strategies and channels to deliver on SEPHORA Canada’s key priorities.


In this role you will report directly to the Senior Director, Integrated Marketing, and you will also have the opportunity to coach and lead two direct reports.


What You'll Do


Champion the SEPHORA Brand in Canada


  • Captain North American leveraged programs, identifying and facilitating workstream deviations and support with key Canadian cross-functional team members.
  • Support Sr. Director, Integrated Marketing through annual planning and marketing strategy development.
  • Lead local category campaigns that complement the holistic North American activation calendar to drive local growth opportunities.
  • Lead breakthrough Masterbrand campaign work driven by local Canadian insights and market opportunities from inception through to post-campaign analysis.


Drive Results


  • Responsible for ensuring all campaign work algins with the brand, objectives and budgets Partners with market research, client-insights and analytics to establish objectives, measurement plan and analysis of all campaigns
  • Continually develops and implements performance measurement activities to ensure maximum return on investment of marketing communications activities.
  • Expertly develop and manage budgets, finding opportunities for efficiencies and continuous contingency planning.


Collaborate and Build Partnerships


  • Be a critical liaison in North American content & campaign planning process – representing Canadian localization requirements
  • Partner with cross-functional teams and Retails Operations on key seasonal and promotional campaign moments to deliver on-brand, client centric omni-channel communications
  • Collaborate with the Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging team, holding self and team accountable, to actively and seamlessly integrate and accelerate the SEPHORA Canada representation and inclusion vision.
  • Partner lockstep with Marketing team Project Managers to ensure seamless workstreams

  • Coach and feed the professional development of direct reports, while demonstrating and developing your competency of successfully motivating and working through others.

  • Familiarity and comfort working with established ideas to build out an integrated campaign, as well as starting from the ground up to create original campaigns tailored to local market trends and opportunities.
