Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, Product and Growth, the Manager, Marketing Growth and Automation will play a critical role in developing, implementing, and optimizing data control, growth marketing and automation strategies using the HubSpot platform. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, brand, and IT to drive effective and personalized engagement campaigns and communications to generate brand awareness and lead capture. The ideal candidate also has experience in other aspects of digital marketing and will be excited to work cross functionally on all things sales and marketing for PLAY Hockey. This role will work onsite at our Winnipeg based Headquarters.
Responsibilities:
●Set up and manage email marketing and automation campaigns through HubSpot.
●Manage CRM databases & email reporting.
●Support B2B lead generation strategies including creating targeted lists through research, support trade shows and other sales lead activities.
●Collaborate with the marketing team, functional leads, and business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into effective marketing automation workflows and campaigns.
●Analyze and report on campaign performance. Monitor key metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates. Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve future campaigns.
●Work with the marketing team on content and strategies related to leading, nurturing, and acquiring targeted B2C and B2B audiences to the business.
●Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure all campaigns are delivered on time, with proper segmentation and quality assurance to maximize engagement.
●Stay abreast of and recommend email marketing best practices with coding, design, and testing of email campaigns.
●Work with the marketing team to brainstorm potential on-site activations that can leverage data intel and lead capture.
●Updating senior management and all stakeholders with weekly email performance reporting.
●Create and disseminate post-email communication reports with recommendations on how to enhance the overall effectiveness of opt-ins and engagement.
●Comfortable creating virtual connections using social media, video conference, email, and mobile business tools.
●Other duties and tasks as assigned by Management.
Qualifications:
●Bachelor’s or College degree in marketing, advertising, business, or a related field
●Minimum of 3 years’ experience in digital advertising with at least 1 year of dedicated CRM experience.
●Professional phone, email and interpersonal skills are essential.
●Excellent presentation and copyrighting skills with high energy and the ability to work with others.
●Strong organizational skills to stay on task and effectively manage competing demands towards successful and timely completion of projects.
●Experience in working with marketing automation and email marketing tools, preferably HubSpot including email campaign delivery, setup & analytics.
●Independent with strong functional expertise to manage and create a variety of email campaigns, including template designs, calls-to-action, split tests used in an email with assistance from content team to increase lead generation.
●Excellent analytical, organizational & troubleshooting skills.
●Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition.
●Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
●Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
●Excellent spoken and written English with persuasive communication skills.
●Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
