Product Analyst, Debit Growth

Reporting to the AVP, Group Product Strategy & Growth, the Product Analyst will be responsible for supporting the growth and development of Interac's debit payment products. As subject matter experts for the Products and Services team, they will identify market opportunities, build product adoption and growth strategies, track product performance and ensure client satisfaction.

• Developing a detailed understanding of customer segments through the use of data analytics.
• Participating in special projects and performing additional duties to help achieve departmental objectives.
• Supporting the creation and implementation of marketing plans in line with product strategy.
• Gathering appropriate competitive knowledge by exploring global and domestic market trends while identifying market opportunities for Interac.
• Assisting with product training, including creation of material for internal or external audiences.
• Assisting in developing and maintaining product documentation, including product specifications, user guides and release notes.
• Assisting with product development activities including creation of forecasts, budgets, strategies, opportunity assessments and business cases.
• Assisting with product delivery by working and consulting with internal & external stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables are produced in a timely manner.
• Monitoring and tracking product adoption by assembling data from multiple sources (internal and external) and prepare summary reports.

You bring:

• A B.Sc., B. Comm or equivalent experience in a related field (preferred).
• Solid critical thinking, analytical and problem resolution skills to analyze trends and impacts, identify options and implications and propose practical solutions.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies is an asset.
• Strong planning skills and experience in product analysis, financial analysis and knowledge of relevant technology.
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
• A proven track record in the payments industry or a similarly regulated industry. You are self-motivated and results oriented.
• The ability to eliminate obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches
• Experience and familiarity of payment products and line of business is a plus.
• The ability to communicate the results of analyses in a clear and effective manner.
• The ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve a common goal. You are comfortable with the fast-paced, dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in product analysis, product management and/or marketing.
