Reporting to the Chief Brand Officer, the Director of Integrated Marketing will own the integrated marketing strategy and manage 360-marketing planning and execution. The ideal candidate will have a passion for brand-building, experience managing performance marketing, exceptional organizational and project management skills, and a proven track record of helping brands meet their performance and revenue objectives.
This is a brand new role to support Knix's growth and requires a deep knowledge of digital marketing, consumer behaviour and content, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-growth environment.
Location: Toronto, Canada
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with leaders across multiple teams to drive integrated marketing programs with impactful outcomes that deliver against key metrics. Teams include: Performance Marketing, Retention Marketing, E-commerce, Merchandising, Product Development, Supply, Customer Service, Retail, Wholesale Operations.
- Oversee the 360-strategy and development of seasonal marketing campaigns, product launches, evergreen content programs, channel-by-channel content deliverables, strategic activations, go-to-market plans, and brand partnerships to build brand awareness and customer loyalty.
- Lead, develop, and execute a content management process, workflow and system to oversee day-to-day content operations required to support an integrated customer experience to maximize revenue.
- Responsible for high-quality execution and cross-functional communication to support content creation and delivery across marketing channels (OOH, Paid and Organic Social, CRM, Site, Print, PR, Retail, and Direct Mail).
- Create strategic project plans and operational processes around complex and large-scale marketing initiatives, including model building, and ensure all marketing efforts are grounded in financial performance.
- Routinely share marketing strategies and plans, results and learnings, and relevant industry trends with the organization and key external partners.
- Manage a small but mighty marketing team across the following functional areas: Brand Marketing, Product Marketing, Project Management, and Market Analysis.
- Establish the Knix Omni-channel marketing calendar, content delivery schedules and communication across brands, teams and platforms.
About You:
- Self-motivated and will thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that requires learning quickly and managing ambiguity.
- An MBA or advanced degree is strongly preferred.
- Experience delivering world-class, creative and results-oriented campaigns and activations.
- Ability to operate at both a strategic and execution level.
- Excellent verbal and written communicator and compelling brand storyteller.
- Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills to manage simultaneous projects against deadlines.
- At least 7+ years of experience in the direct-to-consumer industry, with a strong preference for e-commerce fashion, lifestyle or CPG backgrounds.
- A growth mindset that fosters a test-and-learn approach across the marketing team.
- Strong financial acumen and experience with managing P&Ls.
- Exceptional leadership and collaboration skills with the ability to lead teams and build strong partnerships with cross-functional and agency partners.
