Junior Art Director/Designer

Overview:

We are looking for a junior art director or designer for a 4-month contract.

In your role, you will be tasked with developing and expanding your fundamental skill set to contribute to the agency’s world-class creative output. We want to connect with people who are smart, not just clever. People who are determined and diligent in their craft. Most importantly, people whose passion doesn’t overwhelm their ability to be a contributing member of a team.

Working independently or with a copywriter, you will be responsible for the visual and conceptual development of creative concepts. The candidate should have a unique eye for design, is knowledgeable about the latest trends in visual arts, be proactive in offering assistance to other creative teams and acts as a source for innovative ideas and concepts.

Responsibilities:

• Work together with creative directors, copywriters, strategists and account services;
• Provide artistic direction for photography, film and animation;
• Be proactive about opportunities in the agency and make their own opportunities.
• Present creative concepts and provide artistic direction;
• Be able to take internal/ client feedback and adapt to the agreed to direction

Skills and Experience:

• A willingness to execute beyond the brief.
• Ability to come up with concepts and designs;
• Able to conceptualize ideas from insight and solve business problems.
• An eagerness to lean in and collaborate with other Creatives to build on ideas
• Able to manage several different projects at a given time in a deadline-driven environment.
• Understanding of the creative process;
• Able to work in a cross-disciplinary team with the likes of copywriters, strategists, producers, etc.
• A unique eye for design
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite/Figma. Knowledge and experience working in motion design is a strong asset.
• Knowledge of Keynote;
