Associate Producer - Art And Design

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Producer to oversee the 3D art and design departments at Alpha Channel. As the associate producer, you will collaborate closely with the creative team, artists, designers, and developers to ensure the successful execution of projects while adhering to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Responsibilities Include:

• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting creativity, teamwork, and professional growth within the 3D art and design departments.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to 3D art and design, and provide recommendations for process improvements and innovation.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or roadblocks, and proactively implement solutions to keep projects on track and within budget.
• Establish and maintain effective communication channels between the 3D art and design departments and other cross-functional teams, such as programming, audio, and QA, to ensure seamless collaboration throughout the development process.
• Manage and optimize production pipelines, workflows, and resource allocation to ensure efficient and timely delivery of high-quality 3D assets.
• Coordinate with external vendors and outsourcing partners for the creation of 3D assets, ensuring adherence to project specifications and deadlines.
• Assist in talent acquisition and provide mentorship and guidance to team members, helping them develop their skills and reach their full potential.
• Collaborate with concept artists, 3D artists, game designers and creative directors to define and execute the artistic vision, style, and direction of the game's 3D assets and visual designs.
• Lead and manage the 3D art and design departments, overseeing the entire production process from conception to final delivery.
• Provide clear direction, feedback, and support to the 3D art and design teams to ensure their work meets project requirements and quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Passion for video games and a deep understanding of different gaming genres and player preferences.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on finding efficient solutions to production challenges.
• Experience in managing cross-functional teams and coordinating with external partners or vendors.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
• Solid leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey ideas, provide constructive feedback, and inspire creativity.
• Understanding of the game development process, including 3D modeling, texturing, lighting, animation, and rendering.
• Proven experience as a Video Game Producer or similar role, with a focus on 3D art and design.
