You will be reporting to a lead producer.

Location: Remote North America - open to most North America locations

As an Assistant Producer (Localization) with Maxis, you will focus on the localization of the game’s text, ensuring on-time delivery while meeting standards for functionality and quality.

Responsibilities

• Foster and aid interdisciplinary collaboration between the localization and development teams; communicate status
• Liaison with localization and Quality Verification teams to ensure quality
• Review in the game, text as it is implemented
• Collaborate with producers and designers to write text, source answers to questions and track status
• Work with EA partners to coordinate any additional text needs
• Work with a team of producers, designers, artists and engineers to create compelling new features for The Sims 4
• Direct the lifecycle of game text; partner with localization team to estimate impact and ensure on-time delivery
• Field issues and assess their priority and risk; correct or add to database and track progress
• Work with Tech Directors to manage the build review process

Qualifications

• You look for opportunities to improve things and you jump in to do so
• You are capable with tools for quality tracking, documentation, version control, and brainstorming
• You have professional experience on a published game for PC/Mac, console, or mobile
• You are eager to sharpen your skills and take on new challenges
• You have gone through a full cycle for a base game or DLC, or part of a live service season
• You love games!

Us Compensation And Benefits

The hourly pay ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the hourly pay range for your specific location.

Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

HOURLY PAY RANGES

• Jersey City, NJ:

º $36 - $49

• Colorado (depending on location):

º $29 - $40

• Washington (depending on location):

º $29 - $44

The hourly rate is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby (following 1 year of service), medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees.
