Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business operations and insurance requirements.
• Prepare and present insurance proposals, negotiate terms, and secure policies that meet client needs.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, policies, and sales activities in the agency management system.
• Collaborate with underwriters and internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of insurance solutions.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and changes in insurance products and regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service, including addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and managing client relationships throughout the policy lifecycle.
• Prospect, develop, and close new commercial insurance business opportunities through various lead generation methods, including networking, referrals, and networking.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments and provide accurate insurance advice and recommendations to clients.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated and driven to achieve sales goals, with a proactive and persistent approach.
• Proven track record of success in commercial insurance sales, with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Knowledge of insurance industry regulations and compliance standards.
• Proficiency in insurance agency management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to analyze client needs, identify potential risks, and provide appropriate insurance solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, including property, liability, and professional liability.
• Valid insurance RIBO license
• Excellent sales and negotiation skills, with a demonstrated ability to close deals and meet or exceed sales targets.
