What You'll Do


Triangle Retail Media (TRM) is an exciting new Retail Media team at Canadian Tire, working alongside our vendor partners to offer world class marketing solutions that drive results. Since launching in 2021 we have grown significantly and are continuing to expand our resources, capabilities and offerings. The Advisor, Brand Development & Business Integration will play an integral role in further developing the growth of the TRM business. Working closely with stakeholders across the organization, your primary function will include the development of quarterly activations, evolving our current product offering and contributing to the development of new marketing opportunities that TRM will incorporate into FGL & Mark’s suite of marketing product solutions for our clients. You will help integrate TRM within the FGL & Mark’s businesses, ensuring strategic alignment between all business entities as well as maintaining and optimizing the processes required for all stakeholders to work seamlessly together, toward our shared goals. The Advisor, Brand Development & Business Integration is a dynamic role with ample development opportunities and access to help build a nation-wide Retail Media organization from its early stages.


  • Contribute to TRM’s integration with the Seasonal Planning process.
  • Inform internal stakeholders and collaborate with them on any new products in development and ensure alignment and integration with existing processes and best practices.
  • Stay informed of FGL & Mark’s business priorities, strategy and updates to ensure TRM is fully integrated into each business.
  • Leverage data, trends, past performance metrics, and insights to develop new partner solutions.
  • Assist in developing and optimizing the processes required to execute the TRM program within the organization, integrating into existing process where possible.
  • Act as an FGL & Mark’s brand ambassador within the TRM organization, facilitating connections with TRM, FGL and Mark’s stakeholders as required.
  • Work cross-functionally to shape the FGL & Mark’s suite of products in collaboration with Media Strategy & Planning, Ad Operations, Strategic Marketing, Merchandising, Ecomm, and Digital Marketing teams.
  • Orchestrate the development of quarterly product offering for FGL and Mark's banners while ensuring the media strategy, creative direction, and overall approach align with TRM’s financial targets, TRM’s strategy, the banner’s strategy, client considerations, market trends, etc.
  • Contribute to TRM’s product roadmap by identifying and developing new product offerings that align with both TRM’s and FGL & Mark’s overarching strategy and objectives.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to review performance of current quarterly activations and evolve our product offering as needed.
  • Develop sales material and reference documents for current product offering as well as newly developed products for use by sales and account teams, ensuring the team has the necessary tools to deliver success.


What You Bring


  • College or university degree in Marketing, Economics, Business, Finance, or related discipline 
  • Experience in media buying platforms, demand, and supply side is an asset
  • Ability to overcome complex challenges and leverage resources where necessary to solve problems
  • Flexible, positive attitude fit for start-up business
  • Experience in marketing strategy & campaign management is an asset
  • Agile and a self-starter, thrives working on new initiatives
  • Strong attention to detail and good follow-through
  • The ability to operate across a complex matrixed organization
  • Creative and critical thinking skills
  • Experience in retail media is an asset
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and competing priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
