TITLE: Business Development Manager
REPORTING TO: Sales Manager
INDUSTRY / COMPANY: Transportation and Logistics
LOCATION: Hybrid (50% in local office, 25% on the road, 25% WFH)
*MUST BE IN EDMONTON or CALGARY.
THE GOOD STUFF!
BASE SALARY: $80,000 - $90,000
BONUS: % of GM
OTE: $140,000 - $180,000 (uncapped)
OTHER: Benefits + Career Growth + Car Allowance
THE ROLE:
This is a company with aggressive growth plans to dominate its market and the environment is bustling and full of energy.
The role is 80% hunting for new business and 20% account management.
• Sourcing new sales opportunities through outbound lead generation: cold calls and emails, networking, and attending industry events.
• Understanding customer needs and requirements to build solutions
• Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas
• Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
THE NEEDS
5+ years of sales experience in Transportation / Logistics / Supply Chain
Strong Desire to continue to work on Hunting new business.
At least 1+ year of net new business acquisition experience.
Demonstrated ability to self-generate new business opportunities and a keen attitude to learn!
