Regional Manager, Canadian Construction Labs
(Western Canada/Central Canada/Atlantic Canada)
Role Summary
Canadian Construction Labs (a World Health Labs company) is quickly becoming one of Canada’s leading “skilled trades” recruitment & placement firms. We are in a rapid growth phase and searching for 3 Regional Managers (Western Canada, Central Canada & Atlantic Canada). The Regional Manager will possess significant industry contacts (Oil & Gas/Residential & Commercial Construction/Ship Building/Mining, Transportation, Government, etc.) and will be responsible to drive revenue through securing “skilled trades” recruitment & placement contracts with major industry players. In this role, you will build and track a pipeline of opportunities (placement contracts), develop and post job opportunities, and screen & place “skilled trades” candidates within your growing industry client base.
Candidates can be based in any of the major regional Canadian cities.
Reporting Structure
This role reports through to the Senior Director, Growth
Role Responsibilities
- Represent the company at conferences and tradeshows as required
- Provide input & analysis re: business development, marketing, revenue growth and pricing
- Assist in strategic & growth planning
- Track & report all hiring metrics including; time-to-hire, time-to-fill, contract length, renewals, etc.
- Grow & maintain a CRM database (pipeline) of industry clients and contractors (Welders, Carpenters, Electricians, Plumbers, Drywallers, General Contractors, Engineers, and other trades)
- Develop, grow and maintain regional skilled trades industry relationships (new business development and introduction of CCL to your existing client base)
Qualification & Experience
Must haves:
- Significant trades/construction contact base
- Excellent English language skills
- 2-5 years of trades industry sales and account management experience
- 2-5 years of “skilled trades” industry recruitment experience
- Familiarity working within a client/applicant tracking platform (CRM)
Considered an asset:
- Hands-on experience and knowledge of online sourcing techniques via job sites like LinkedIn, Monster and Indeed, etc.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision, and organize and prioritize effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong negotiation skills when discussing terms and conditions of employment
- Proficient with the G-Suite Platform (Gmail, Drive, Voice, Sheet, Docs, etc.)
- Degree, or combination of education and relevant experience in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Trades certification or relevant field
Note: This role is in a virtual/hybrid team environment and you will need to have open availability. Evening and Weekends may be required from time to time.

- Compensation based on experience and qualifications
- Base + generous incentive options based on KPI’s
