Job Description

Title: Wholesale Account Manager – Apparel Ladieswear and Menswear

Department: Wholesale

Reports to: Senior Director, Wholesale

Location: Montreal, QC


Who You Are:

You are enthusiastic, autonomous, reliable, collaborative, and significant contributor to our Wholesale division. Reporting to the Senior Director, Wholesale, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the apparel division of both ladieswear and menswear while ensuring the set budgets and category profitability targets are respected. You play a key role in fostering cross-functional team collaboration. You will also have the opportunity to grow and develop your team. You are driven, analytical, business minded and are a strategic thinker with strong entrepreneurial skills.


What You’ll Do:

  • Identify opportunities and collaborate with various cross functional partners for internal process improvements based on supplier feedback and bottlenecks.
  • Facilitate resolution of supplier questions and issues. Also be the owner for customer escalations.
  • Manage multiple priorities in a face-paced environment with effective communication and thorough follow through.
  • Create and maintain regular reporting as needed (i.e., selling reports and market recaps).
  • Submitting all buys to corporate office on time and with precision.
  • Set up applicable systems, line sheets and manage samples for seasonal markets.
  • You will be pricing the line (line costing) for all divisions.
  • Monitor competition on an ongoing basis, this includes visiting stores to seek opportunities.
  • Manage the entire order process for ladies and menswear apparel ensuring the plan is properly executed, including initial shipments, replenishment orders, as well as overseeing order processing, order shipping and delivery cycle.
  • Partner with Retail, Sales, Distribution Center (DC) and customer service team to ensure our orders are shipped on time.
  • Manage in-season inventory on a weekly basis.
  • Operate as a business manager of the ladies and men’s apparel product categories to achieve budgeted sales and gross margin targets.
  • Work with logistics and production departments to ensure on time arrival of product.


You’ll Need to Have:

  • Solid financial and budgetary comprehension.
  • Experience working with any large retail Canadian accounts.
  • Advance knowledge of Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills and detail oriented
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion, Business or related Degree.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • At least 5 years’ experience working in fashion retail and/or wholesale management.

Vous êtes :

Relevant du Directeur senior, Commerce en gros, vous serez responsable des opérations quotidiennes de la division des vêtements pour femmes et pour hommes, tout en veillant à ce que les budgets établis et les objectifs de rentabilité de la catégorie soient respectés. Vous jouez un rôle clé dans la promotion de la collaboration au sein de l'équipe interfonctionnelle. Vous aurez également l'occasion de développer votre équipe. Vous êtes motivé(e), analytique, avez l'esprit d'entreprise et êtes un(e) penseur(euse) stratégique doté(e) de solides compétences entrepreneuriales.


Ce que vous ferez:

  • Faciliter la résolution des questions et problèmes des fournisseurs. Assurer également la responsabilité des remontées d'informations des clients.
  • Surveiller en permanence la concurrence, ce qui implique de se rendre dans les magasins pour rechercher des opportunités.
  • Mettre en place les systèmes applicables, les fiches de ligne et gérer les échantillons pour les marchés saisonniers.
  • Gérer l'ensemble du processus de commandes des vêtements pour femmes et hommes en veillant à ce que le plan soit correctement exécuté, y compris les expéditions initiales, les commandes de réapprovisionnement, ainsi que la supervision du traitement des commandes, de l'expédition des commandes et du cycle de livraison.
  • Créer et maintenir des rapports réguliers selon les besoins (c'est-à-dire des rapports de vente et des récapitulatifs de marché).
  • Collaborer avec les équipes de détail et de ventes, ainsi que le centre de distribution et l'équipe du service à la clientèle pour veiller à ce que les commandes soient expédiées à temps.
  • Travailler avec les départements de la logistique et de la production pour assurer l'arrivée des produits dans les délais.
  • Gérer des priorités multiples dans un environnement en constante évolution avec une communication efficace et un suivi minutieux.
  • Vous serez chargé(e) de la tarification de la ligne (line costing) pour toutes les divisions.
  • Gérer l'inventaire de saison sur une base hebdomadaire.
  • Identifier les opportunités et collaborer avec divers partenaires interfonctionnels pour améliorer les processus internes sur la base du retour d'information des fournisseurs et des goulets d'étranglement.
  • Soumettre tous les achats au siège de l'entreprise dans les délais et avec précision.
  • Assurer la gestion commerciale des catégories de produits des vêtements pour hommes et femmes afin d'atteindre les objectifs de ventes budgétisées et de marge brute.


Vous devez avoir:

  • Solides compétences analytiques et souci du détail
  • Solide compréhension financière et budgétaire.
  • Baccalauréat dans le domaine de la mode, du commerce ou dans un domaine connexe.
  • Connaissance avancée d'Excel.
  • Au moins 5 ans d'expérience dans le domaine de la mode au détail et/ou de la gestion du commerce en gros.
  • Excellentes aptitudes à la communication et au service à la clientèle.
  • Expérience de travail avec de grands comptes de détail canadiens.
