Job Description
Randstad Staffing, Canada's #1 Integrated Staffing firm is actively recruiting for an experienced payroll clerk to work with one of our clients in Bedford. This is a temporary two month position starting ASAP with a possibility of extension.

Responsibilities
  • Some travel is required -- must have own vehicle
  • Ensure Record of Employment (ROE) are issued as requested from HR
  • Support any audit requests.
  • Account Reconciliations – Prepare and Process Journal Entries
  • Prepare semi-monthly payroll for employees.
  • Prepare trip settlement sheet for each trip landed and distribute accordingly.
  • Coordinate bonus related transactions.
  • Prepare monthly remittances
  • Maintain year to date data excel files
  • Coordinate RRSP deductions per Collective Agreements.
  • Prepare payroll for submissions
  • Manage any employee changes/updates.
  • Coordinate compensation increases per collective agreements or employee contracts.
  • Maintain the employee information in ADP.
Qualifications
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office / Strong knowledge of Excel
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both verbally and written
  • Good problem solving skills
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience
  • ADP payroll software and/or SAP user knowledge is an asset
