Job Description
Overview
At FutureCare our Corporate Payroll Specialist will assist the payroll team with coordinating, processing, and completing payroll request in a timely and efficient manner. Under the direction of the Payroll Manager the Corporate Payroll Specialist provides administrative support and act as a liaison to staff, administrators and employees to answer all payroll inquires and resolve payroll issues that may arise.

Responsibilities
  • Exporting of time and attendance hours to Paylocity
  • Maintain and update Excel reports as needed
  • Maintains time clock information and coordinates with Human Resource Director on discrepancies
  • Acts as a liaison to staff, administrators, and employees by answering questions and researching various requests as received
  • Ability to handle an assigned number of facilities which may be subject to change at any time
  • Experience with garnishment processing
  • Run Salaried employees for audit
  • Import deduction grids
  • Entering of Pay Data Grids
  • Active/Leave/Term reports
  • Enter and update files in the payroll system including new hires, terms, benefits, direct deposit, tax withholdings, etc
  • Manual check reports
  • Review of bonuses being paid
  • Process bi-weekly payroll according to the payroll schedule including but not limited to the following:
Qualifications
  • Meet deadlines while working in a demanding, fast paced environment
  • College degree preferred but no required
  • Must be detailed oriented, able to appropriately prioritize multiple tasks,
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and employees and
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in payroll
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Excel
  • Experience with time clock and payroll systems in Paylocity software required and Smartlinx highly preferred
