It is a great time to join the Richardson Food and Ingredients team as theirMarketing Specialist. The Marketing Specialist is responsible for planning and managing digital marketing campaigns and participating in the development of the overall digital marketing strategy for the Food and Ingredients division and their branded products across retail, food service and industrial sales channels.

The Marketing Specialist is Responsible For:

• Managing and developing websites and content within the division.
• Participating in the development of a comprehensive digital marketing strategy, including marketing spend and return on investment.
• Monitoring and improving search engine performance and goal-setting based on click-through rates, traffic, and conversions.
• Supporting ongoing and new product development including product positioning, brand messaging, brand training, sales support and marketing tactics.
• Utilizing market research related to consumer behavior, sales and market share, food and marketing trends and competitive analysis as foundation for digital planning.
• Developing displays, advertising, presentations, and promotional items.
• Creating, managing, and monitoring social media accounts, blog posts, digital marketing campaigns, and promotions and providing monthly reporting.

You and Your Experience:

• Strong creative and graphic design skills with the ability to work collaboratively on concepts.
• Post-secondary education in marketing or a related discipline with a minimum of 3 years digital marketing experience.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Wordpress and social media.
• Previous experience working with branded products in the food and beverage industry is considered an asset.
