Proposal Specialist Jobs

The Aurum Group is seeking a highly motivated, results-driven Proposal Specialist. This individual will be skilled in reviewing national boards that list requests for proposals and preparing responses aligned with the core businesses of the Aurum Group. We require someone who is articulate, intelligent, analytical, and driven to succeed. They must be highly independent and proficient at writing.

Job Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Salary: $60,000 per year + commissions

Roles

• Review opportunities for grants and subsidies. Prepare applications for applicable opportunities.
• Conduct research to become a product subject matter expert.
• Assist in sales and other related activities as required.
• Establish and maintain clear and frequent communication with proposal managers.
• Stay current on the company's organizational structure, company policies, and federal and provincial laws regarding RFPs and subsidies.
• Develop a tailored response to RFPs.
• Provide a synopsis of likely RFPs for management review.
• Research grant opportunities, write compelling grant proposals to acquire funding, and work with our leadership team.
• Developing relationships and collaborating with key stakeholders.
• Write, submit, and manage grant proposals.
• Review national RFP boards, such as Merx, and similar private boards, for requests for proposals.

Qualifications

• Strong communicator
• Analytical, Innovative, and creative problem-solving skills
• Highly motivated and able to work independently.
• Previous experience in Janitorial / Sanitization product sales, ideally B2B.
• Exceptional organizational and writing skills.
• 4+ years of work experience as a Grant writer or similar role.
• Post-secondary education (Political Science, Communications preferred).
