Coordinate with teams to create all contracts for engagements that offer IT services.

Manage multiple proposals in parallel and manage expectations.

Work as part of a team to offer suggestions for improvements or ways to streamline internal processes.

Validate text, numbers, format, and legal requirements during the preparation of client communications.

Bachelor’s degree or related working experience;

Analyzes RFQ and RFP requirements, leads management in the development of winning proposal strategies.

Post-secondary education in sales, marketing, advertising or business management is an asset.

Additional assignments per management discretion.

Strong preference given to candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.

Two (2) years experience writing and coordinating RFQ and RFP processes in the construction industry.

Proven experience meeting RFQ/RFP deadlines in fast paced, demanding environments.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex technical requirements and develop innovative solutions.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in proposal engineering or a similar role within the energy industry.

Strong knowledge of ISO standards and their application in the energy sector.

Proven experience in developing technical proposals and managing contracts.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and engage with customers.

Knowledge of thermal processes and their application in energy systems.

Self-starter with excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills

Develop basic electrical & mechanical design knowledge of metal-enclosed switchgear

Knowledge of the basics of power system protection & control

Prepare summary specification documents for the utilities & major customers which S&C serves

Assist with reviewing and preparing proposal documents for medium voltage metal-enclosed switchgear

Job-shadow engineering team members in multiple departments to gain an overview of the work process flow

Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the product applications and the competitive market;

Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience;

Experience in Sales and Customer Service is an asset;

Knowledge in Gas Turbine or Turbo-machinery industry, HVAC systems is an asset;

Good knowledge of English (written and spoken). Working proficiency in French is an asset.

Reporting directly to the team leader, this person’s responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Working in collaboration with Recruiters and Account Managers to find compliant candidates

Communicating with candidates via telephone and email to gain a deeper understanding of their relevant experience for the role

Writing an effective response to the RFP that is clear, concise and compliant with the requirements

Operating our automated “grid tool” system to highlight specific portions of the candidate resume in response to RFP requirements

Proven technical or creative writing experience required

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Level of Formal EducationMaster’s Degree or equivalent experience

Background in ITIL, Service Management, IT Management, IT Outsourcing, Service Design

10 years of experience in related field

Special Certifications (CPA, etc.,) APMP Practitioner Certificate, Professional preferred training in Shipley process is desirable

Experience working with the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)

Experience working with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, etc.)

Offering support and guidance regarding the firm’s credentials that would be best comparable to the opportunity at hand

Offer presentation development and coaching support for Partners across the firm, understanding presentation best practices

3+ years of work experience in proposal writing role

Excellent written and communication skills are vital.

Strong experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

Ability to prioritize workloads and the flexibility to manage multiple tasks and tight deadlines

Assist with maintaining, monitoring, and managing proposal database, files, and systems through appropriate information management systems

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Communications, Journalism, English, Liberal Arts, Construction Management, Environmental Science, Engineering, or equivalent

Analyze and interpret documents (RFQ, RFI, RFP) and requirements to prepare and develop comprehensive response templates (compliance matrix, proposal outlines, schedule)

Serve as lead writer for various technical and non-technical proposal sections (e.g., project descriptions, qualification summaries, resumes, project approach, etc.)

College or University education within a Marketing or Communications field, or related industry experience/knowledge

Prior proposal experience is preferred

Develop proposals; ensure deals deliver shareholder value; drive competitive pricing. Includes compiling and submitting required tender documentation.

Resolves issues using established procedures. Consults supervisor or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
